Almetek came alive with spooky spirit for our annual Halloween celebration! The day kicked off with a delicious breakfast from Budd Lake Bagels, featuring bagels, muffins, juice, and coffee. The main event was the highly anticipated costume contest. We had a fantastic turnout, with nearly a dozen entries showcasing incredible creativity. Participants dressed as Disney and Wizard of Oz characters, a biker chick, a classic cowboy, and more. A special shoutout to Ginny from Accounting for her generous donation of extra costumes, ensuring everyone could join in the fun!

The atmosphere was filled with music and excitement as each contestant showed off their costumes and enjoyed some delicious candy. Everyone received a single ballot to vote for their favorite.

The competition was all in good fun, but the winners truly outdid themselves:

• 1st Place: Jacob B. as a Cyberpunk Wendigo. Jacob stunned the crowd with his entirely self-designed and created costume. Towering over everyone on stilts, his scary and innovative fantasy creation was a well-deserved winner.
• 2nd Place: Mark O. as Daisy Duck. A definite crowd favorite, Mark’s hilarious take on the classic character, was truly a hit with everyone.
• 3rd Place: Ashley W. as Rosie the Riveter. Ashley’s thoughtful homage to the cultural icon was a popular entry in the contest.

The 2025 Halloween event was a fantastic day of fun, laughter, and great costumes!
