Almetek industries, Inc., headquartered in Hackettstown, NJ (Mount Olive Township) had a 50th Anniversary Celebration marking 50 years of being in business as a family owned and operated company. On Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, we hosted a ribbon cutting and tree planting ceremony to honor and recognize Almetek along with our Founder and Chairman, Albert A. Burlando.
Special guests who attended the event included Mayor Nicastro of Mount Olive, Town Council Member, Greg Stewart, and Assemblyman, Mike Inganamort. Mayor Nicastro held the ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate this high achievement and recognition and honored Al with a signed letter. Assemblyman, Mike Inganamort gave Al a highly prestigious citation from the State of New Jersey Legislature outlining all of Al’s accomplishments.
Almetek began in the home of Albert A. Burlando in Staten Island, NY in 1975 and grew from its humble beginnings due to the tireless efforts and unwavering support of his family, including his wife, Joyce and his two daughters, Donna and Lori. His operations grew substantially over the years, leading to the construction and development of Almetek’s 42,000 square foot headquarters. Almetek currently employs over sixty-five manufacturing and office personnel and is the leading manufacturer for Pole tags, Signs, Labels, Storm Drain Markers, Porcelain Signs, and Asset Identification Products.
After the celebration, Almetek partnered with Operation Jersey Cares, an organization that supports local deployed, veteran, and military families. Our employees packed supply kits of donated food, toiletries, and additional supplies that will be sent to military bases and veteran homes.
